The novel provides a much better insight
into Michael Biehn's character of Lt. Coffey. It also explains more
about the HPNS that Coffey unexpectedly suffers and gives us more
of his thoughts, giving a better understanding of his actions.

Novelization of the movie.
This novel pretty much follows the Special Edition movie scene for
scene.
And is what had us holding out for the SE! The extra Hicks scenes were well worth waiting for.
