Settings: 20 years after; The Return of the Jedi
Luke and Leia are 40 years old.
Han is getting to the 50's
Jacen and Jaina are both 15.
Anakin is 14.
The New Republic heroes are becoming old and its bureaucracy is a little
old fashion. The new stage of the galaxy, where there haven't been any
big conflict for the last four or five years, requires a change in the
Government loeadship. The War vs. the Empire was over. So a fresh future
minded leader is needed to keep the New Republic united, and
functioning.
Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy has develope many new Jedi Knights, that
are doing their across the galaxy. Despite some failures of students
been seduced by the Dark Side, the results have been outstanding. Close
to 30 new and well trained Jedi are guarding and protecting the balance
of the universe. And those few that had been lost, never came back.
And then, there is the Teen Jedi Academy experiment, in which Luke's
three nephews were involved with over 20 other teenagers Force oriented,
have brought really good results. Jacen and Jaina were now Young Jedi
Knights, and Anakin was halfway to it. Among the best young Jedi are;
Tenel Ka, Lowbacca ( nephew of Chewbacca), and Zekk, this one had a
dangerous trip to the Dark Side, but was saved to the Good Side.
And this Teen Jedi Team have develope a really interesting power,
becoming sometimes one big Force Blow. Something that regular Jedi never
experience because they usually work alone, but still, is something to
study, because in past experiences Luke have join Forces with Leia or
Mara Jade, and indeed they have increased the power on the Force,
becoming a lot stronger against the enemy. But this is nothing compared
to the power blow Luke wittnesed in the Battle against the Second
Imperium, in which his new Teen Jedi defeated the enemy, by combining
there strength.
So, the galaxy could count on Jedi Knights to deal with regional
troubles, and maybe that's why no big problem has exploded for a while.
. . But still there is the issue about those few who were lost to the
Dark Side, maybe a too small group to be a threat— but Luke knows that
Darth Vader, the last Dark Jedi Knight, took all the Jedi down by
himself. . . So if there is just one og them with the passion of hate
that Vader had, there could be a problem.
Since the Battle of Endor, the Imperial Forces have been reduced to a
couple of Star Destroyer with very low autoestime. Grand Admiral Thrawn
was maybe the last really dangerous Imperial Mind, and commited suicide
nearly 15 years ago. Admiral Palleon took over the Fleet, and later came
Da'la. This two made a couple of crusades against the strong New
Republic, but were defeated. Da'la undestood that there was nothing she
could do, after an embarassing battle, and gave all her comand fleet to
Palleon. After nobody saw her again in the active issue.
So this is today's spectrum– A New Republic finally in peace, maybe even
bored. A Galaxy full of Jedi Knights to guard and protect. A Fleet that
once, a long time ago was the most powerfull and feared Corp in the
galaxy, the Empire, now an embarassing mass of ships, hidding from the
New Government in the unknown territories of space. A couple of heroes
who are getting a little old for adventures,
and----- A Government Confident of there status.
What might happen, if suddenly a handsome man step in command of the
Imperial Fleet, calling himself the Son of Emperor Palpatine? What might
happen if a Dark Lord of the Sith Squad came along with him? Scary,
isn't it? And then, what might happen if the Royal Family, and axel of
moral and faith in the galaxy, Princess Leia and Han Solo's matrimony
brake apart, because the Princess fall inlove with another man. . . A
younger man?
Vader once made Luke almost fall into the Dark Side by saying "So, you
have a twin sister! Your feelings now betray her too. Obi Wan was wise
to hide her from me. If you will not turn into the Dark Side, the
perhaps she will----!" Think of Princess Leia as a Dark Jedi turned by
her new love, who is an agent of the Son of the Emperor, send precisly
to bring caos to the New Republic. Because this New Emperor is smart to
know that it is imposible to defeat the New Republic in a direct battle,
but if you disasamble all the magic simbols that hold the Government
together, and then you strike, there will be no Comand to reject the
Blast!
Clever!
So, a really Dark era is about to come, in which it will be clear, once
and for all which side is indeed the strongest , the Dark, or the
Bright!
