						Glory's Diary - August 1
Dear Diary,
School starts in about a month so I guess mom and I will start
shopping soon. Once school starts and our teachers tell us what supplies we
need, then Callie and I will go and buy out the stores again! Sometimes I
wish I could wear Mila's clothes, she has so many! About the only thing I
can borrow from her are hats, scarves, and jewelry but most often its a pen
or pencil. Haha. Other times I think it might be fun to live in a submarine
like Callie but they are so small. Wouldn't it be peaceful to live by the
water? J.T. said he agreed and when he's super rich we'll get married and
have a house on the beach! Cool huh?! I'm kind of scared to think about
marriage but we like dreaming. Neil thinks we are crazy so I guess we will
have to find him a girl to get crazy over. Hmm. Oh, time to go call J.T.!
Let's meet again shall we? Bye! :)

						J.T.'s Journal - August 1
Well guess what?! Now Glory has started talking about marriage! I feel
really weird talking about ME getting married and wedding stuff but there
is no other person in the world I'd rather discuss it with than her. Anyway
I think she must really like my poems because she told me she is keeping a
book of them. She said she will keep them forever. I was like, "WOW!
Really!?" She said, "Yes, of course!" and kissed me. I thought they were ok
and made sense but I did not think they were THAT good. I guess I'll keep
writing more. Neil just does not understand girls. I know they are
complicated but he doesn't know what he's missing. How can I get him to be
interested in something more than science and work? Whatever, I gotta go
get the phone. Bye!

						Glory's Diary - August 2
Hi Di!
Haha! That rhymes! We're going on a date tonight! I think we'll eat
dinner first at a nice restaurant and then go see a movie. What shall we
see? "Grease", "West Side Story", or maybe a cute Disney Production?
Hmm... Maybe something more updated like "Romeo and Juliet" or "Forrest
Gump". Haha. He likes more action so maybe we could rent all four "Stars
Wars" movies. I can't decide, maybe we'll watch them all. I don't know, I
can't see J.T. sitting through all of those. Not at once. Oh well. Now what
will I wear tonight? Suggestions anyone? Don't all jump up at once.
Later!! :)

						J.T.'s Journal - August 2
Hello! YES, YES, YES, another date with Glory!! Can't wait! First I think
we'll have a quiet candlelight dinner at that Italian restaurant Glory
loves and then we'll go for a walk on the beach or in the park. You think
I'm romantic enough? Do I really make her happy? I don't know if I'm
second guessing too much or what but she makes me happy. Oh man! I gotta go
get in the shower before I run out of time. Bye!

						Glory's Diary - August 3
Oh gosh, Diary!
J.T. is so romantic! He wrote me a new poem and read it to me at
our candlelight dinner last night. We ate at Michaelangelo's Italian
restaurant. I ate the penne pasta and a Caesar side salad, J.T. had the
lasagna and a tossed side salad, we both liked the French bread, and ate
whatever else the waitress put on the table. I think we're a matched pair
because what he is allergic to, I eat, and what I don't like, he eats. Haha.
A man with a violin even played a pretty song for us so we could dance. How
lovely! After dinner we walked, talked, and held hands. J.T. was very sweet
and thoughtful but it just does not seem like enough to call him that. Oh!
(sigh) Now I must get dressed for this beautiful morning. Chat later! Bye.

						J.T.'s Journal - August 3
Hey! Last night was great! The food was great! The music was great! Our
walk was great! Most of all Glory was great!! She looked so pretty I could
not speak. I think she liked her newest poem. She kissed me so I guess she
had a great time too. Bye!

						Glory's Diary - August 4
Dear Diary,
Hello, and how was your day? We went shopping! First Callie, Mom,
and I went to Sears because they had a sale on all the makeup Mom wanted
but I bought some nail polish. We looked at the purses but they were either
too big, too small, or too bright. Callie wanted some shoes but they cost
so much, I told her we could come back later if we didn't find them less
someplace else. At Dillard's, they had a sale on dresses, but we liked the
jeans better, so we each got two pairs. Lucky me! It's so hard for me to
find a good pair of jeans in my size. Callie found the shoes she wanted
$10.00 less and I saw some I liked too. Mom bought a new purse to get
dressed up with for special occasions. In Lerner's, I bought a pair of
earrings and Mom, two dresses for the winter. In Express, I bought a
striped sweater, Callie a silver bracelet, and Mom fell in love with the
warm jacket in the window. Told ya we'd buy out all the stores! Bye! :+)

						J.T.'s Journal - August 4
Hi! Today at the lab things got very interesting. A new family moved in
next door to Neil, the Albits I think. Seemed like nice people. Mr. and
Mrs. are scientists like Neil's parents. Coincidence? No, the moms were
college roommates and now they are all working on a new kind of sunscreen
that smells and protects better. I didn't know there was anything wrong
with sunscreen but whatever. Anyway, they said they will come to us if they
have any problems but otherwise we have our own business with the lab. They
have two daughters, Lisa is my little sister's age and Nora is our age.
Nora is really good at math and biology from what I saw today. Her
chemistry is rusty but we can fix that soon enough. She's cool though. We
showed her around and ate lunch at Swans. I'm hoping her and Neil get along
because I'm telling Glory. I just know Glory will want them to hook up.
I'll call her after this Rod Serling movie. Bye!
