                      "Sydney's New Job at Swans'"
 (Steve Carras� Version of Chapter 4 for "Swans Crossing: The Return")

Glory and J.T., walked by the sub hoping to see Callie and saw not only 
her but Barek and the three bald guys. Now knowing what these four were 
really up to, they knew Callie was right about these guys all acting 
suspicious. Finally Glory and Jt. made it down, and pretended to have a 
gun and scared the bald guys away,and they ran. They ran out of the 
submarine,and didn't even notice that neither JT nor certainly Glory even 
had a gun. They got Callie and the others out of the sub. The teens who 
were rescued explained their story to Glory and J.T.

Meanwhile at Swans Sydney was now applying for a job at Swans and Jazz, 
the red-haired propetriess of Swans, the teen-hangout/diner, told her 
that she had been fighting with Garrett too much. Sydney felt like there 
was a deja vu to this since they'd gone over that ever since she duped 
Garrett Booth at the slumber party.But Jazz was willing to employ Syd..

Back at Swans Jimmie and Callie knew they had to get Barek...but where 
was he..Callie just noticed..a THIRD cotton ball..from..one of the 
baldies (she rememebred the two teenage girl slumber party she'd had with 
Glory when the latter had been kidnapped).

Meanwhile JT and Neil were fixing the UB2B computer, and putting up a web
page or six on their town...Mila was the object still of Garrett's
affections,and once Sydney came out Garrett asked her to set him up with 
her. But Syd had her new job at Swans. Mila overheard,having been
nearby,seductively came over and offered to be Garrett's girl..which 
made Garrett happy no end..'till he'd figured out there HAD to have been 
a catch....

Nancy was busy trying to spread a rumor about Sandy,putting up "Sandy has
laryngitis" signs on fences and street poles and stuff,made by her
computer,to embarrass rock star Sandy. Owen and Saja had both seen this 
and snitched to Sandy,who decdided to stop Nancy's plan..

Finally Glory and Callie decided to have another sleep over while the 
baldies and Barek compleplated the total implausibility of JT,and 
especially an innocent teenage girl Glory, even having a gun-they'd run 
out of the sub so far they didn';t even bother to think about it...
