For the tenth night in a row, Callie had awakened screaming
Jimmy's name.
CALLIE: Jimmy! No!
She sat up. Her heart was pounding and she was panting. Jimmy
shot up and grabbed her into a tight embrace.
JIMMY: It's okay baby. … Shh, I'm here. … I'm here.
Callie's entire body was shaking and tears were streaming down
her cheeks. He held her and rocked her, trying to calm her down.
CALLIE: What the fuck is wrong with me?
Jimmy kissed her on the forehead and Callie put her head on his
shoulder.
JIMMY: It was the same dream?
Callie nodded her head.
JIMMY: What do you remember?
CALLIE: Shadows mostly. It only becomes clear when you're shot.
He pulled her down so they were both lying on the bed. She was
still cradled in his arms.
JIMMY: I'm sure once this semester is over with and Barek is no longer
your teacher, the nightmares will stop.
CALLIE: Maybe I should go and see a professional about this.
JIMMY: You mean a shrink?
CALLIE: Yeah. Maybe they can help me see things clearer.
JIMMY: If that's what you want.
CALLIE: I think it's what I need.
Jimmy kissed Callie softly on the lips and hugged her. A look
of sheer panic appeared on his face.

The next day, Callie was sitting in her History of C.J. class.
Barek was late.
ALEX: I hate it when teachers are late. They rush the entire lesson.
CALLIE: Yeah, well, that's Barek. Once you start to trust him, he
proves he's not trustworthy.
ALEX: Jimmy said that Barek used to run the Tool n' Die.
CALLIE: Yeah, but that was a long time ago.
Alex was about to say something else to Callie, but Barek
entered the auditorium.
BAREK: I'm sorry I'm late. I was detained by a phone call. Now let's
get to work, we have a lot to cover today.
He was staring right at Callie. It sent chills down her spine.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Later that afternoon, Jimmy was on campus. He had decided the
night before that he needed to talk to Barek. That's why he had called
him earlier that morning. He stood outside of Barek's office and
knocked on the door.
BAREK: Enter.
JIMMY: Hey Barek.
BAREK: Well hello Young James. So, what is so important that you
needed to see me so urgently?
Jimmy sat down across from Barek.
JIMMY: Callie's been having dreams, nightmares really. She's waking
up screaming my name.
Barek smirked.
BAREK: When a woman wakes up screaming your name that doesn't
necessarily mean she's having a nightmare.
Jimmy was not amused.
JIMMY: This is serious Barek!
BAREK: Sorry man. What are they about?
JIMMY: They're pretty vague up until I get shot.
BAREK: So basically she's remembering the events of that night.
JIMMY: Yeah.
BAREK: I figured this was gonna happen.
JIMMY: This is the only thing I have ever kept from her. Once she
remembers, this is gonna bite me in the ass.
BAREK: I don't envy you James.
Jimmy ran his fingers through his hair.
JIMMY: She wants to go see a shrink. She thinks it will help her see
it more clearly. … I'm thinkin' I should tell her.
BAREK: I can't help you there.
Jimmy put his head in his hands.
JIMMY: Man oh man, I am screwed!

Callie sat in her mother-in-law's kitchen, drinking a soda and
talking with Maddie.
CALLIE: I don't know Mom. I don't know if I really want to know what
happened.
MADDELEINE: What exactly do you remember about the night?
Callie took a sip of her drink and searched her mind.
CALLIE: Jimmy and I were in the Tool n' Die…
A smile came to her face.
CALLIE: It was the first time we'd ever really made out. We had kissed
a couple of times, but…
Callie looked at Maddie.
CALLIE: I guess that's a little more then you really need to know huh?
Maddie smiled.
MADDELEINE: Just a little.
CALLIE: Anyway, we heard voices, angry voices, outside, so we hid.
Barek stormed into the shop and he was pissed. He pulled out his micro
communicator and asked for the status. The voice on the other end said
'Pegasus on go'. That's when he bolted out of there.
MADDELEINE: So, the two of you followed?
CALLIE: Jimmy did. I went to find Saja.
Callie took another sip of her drink. Then she took a deep
breath.
CALLIE: I couldn't find him so I went on to the Walker Estate. I
remember getting there, then there's a big gap and then I remember the
gunshots and the bodies and Jimmy lying on the ground.
MADDELEINE: So you have no idea about the shadows from your dreams.
Callie shook her head.
CALLIE: I know I didn't lose consciousness, but I'm completely blank.
MADDELEINE: Have you talked to Jimmy about what he remembers?
Callie nodded and finished her drink.
CALLIE: He says that his most vivid memory is the burning pain in his
arm from the bullet.
MADDELEINE: I remember how angry I was at the two of you. That day in
the hospital was the first time I had met you.
CALLIE: That I remember. I remember thinking that you hated me for
getting your son involved in all of it.
MADDELEINE: I liked you right away. Especially when I saw how much you
cared about my son. I knew then that you and he would always be
together.
The smile that had disappeared from Callie's face had returned.
CALLIE: Would it be okay if AJ stayed here tonight?
MADDELEINE: Sure sweetheart. Is everything okay?
CALLIE: Yeah. I just think that Jimmy and I need some 'us' time.

After Callie left the Clayton's, she decided she needed to do a
little shopping. She had called Codi to see if she could possibly spend
the night at Katie's. Codi told her that it wouldn't be a problem.
When Callie got home, she went upstairs and began to put her plan into
motion.
Jimmy got home a little after seven. He yelled for his wife.
JIMMY: Callie!
Callie slowly walked down the stairs. Jimmy dropped the books
that were in his hands when he saw her. She was wearing a sheer white
lace robe with a satin belt holding it together, a white garter belt,
white stockings and white stiletto heels.
JIMMY: Whoa!
Callie smiled.
CALLIE: You hungry?
Jimmy licked his lips and he nodded his head. She grabbed his
hand and led him to the dining room. On the table were strawberries, a
fondue pot with melted chocolate and a can of whipped cream. She
pointed to the chair at the end of the table.
CALLIE: Sit.
Jimmy sat in the chair and Callie straddled him. He finally
spoke.
JIMMY: Not that I'm complaining … at all, but is there any particular
reason you're sitting on my lap, wearing … and feeding me strawberries,
chocolate and whipped cream?
Callie dipped the berry into the chocolate and then gave Jimmy
a bite of it.
CALLIE: I love you … and I'm horny.
She took the whipped cream, shook it, sprayed some on Jimmy's
neck and licked it off. The she untied the satin belt and let her robe
fall completely open. She shook the whipped cream again and sprayed a
dot between her breasts. Jimmy's mouth went right to it. As he ran his
hands up and down her exposed body, she felt his manhood grow beneath
her.
CALLIE: Mmm … feels like you are too.
He reached behind her and put the fire out under the fondue pot.
Then he began to kiss her hard, full of passion and desire. The next
few minutes were a bit blurry, but before she knew it, the food was on
the floor and she was on the dining room table being nailed by her
husband.
CALLIE: Oh yes! … Oh God! … Ooooh!
JIMMY: Is this what you want baby?
Callie's body was writhing on the table.
CALLIE: Oh God Yes!
Callie began to moan uncontrollably and then they both exploded.
Each seeing stars.

After hours of making love in several different locations, Callie
and Jimmy lay sleeping in their bed. Then the dream began…
~ ~ ~ Callie hadn't been able to find Saja so she headed to the Walker
Estate alone.
When she got there, she saw a dark hooded figure rise from the ground.
His face was
covered except for his eyes. The skin around them was burned.
PEGASUS: So, this is it Barek. The final show.
Barek pointed a gun at the man.
BAREK: It's long past due, don't cha think?
PEGASUS: I would not be so confident that you have the upper hand.
Callie heard the clicks of several guns.
BAREK: You actually think I came alone?
She heard more guns click.
PEGASUS: I guess we are at an impasse then.
BAREK: I have a question for you.
PEGASUS: Ask away.
BAREK: How could you turn against your country like this?
PEGASUS: Money. You can never have enough.
BAREK: And your family?
PEGASUS: Elia was never much of a concern for me. He didn't have
enough drive. You, however, had potential.
BAREK: So you've just let us think that you've been dead for fifteen
years?
PEGASUS: Elia is very aware that I am alive.
Callie was in shock at what she was hearing. She came out from
the tree she was hiding behind and stepped forward.
CALLIE: What the Hell is going on here?
Jimmy stepped out from behind the hideous statue from which he
had hiding and yelled to her.
JIMMY: Callie! Get out of here!
That's when the shooting began.
Callie hit the ground. The whole time she was screaming for
Jimmy. She spotted him about fifty feet away from her and was shocked
at what she saw. Jimmy was holding a gun and firing it. When the
shooting stopped she heard sirens headed toward them. She very slowly
stood up and looked around. Bodies were everywhere. Some were alive,
but most were dead. When she saw Jimmy, he was clutching his left arm.
He'd been shot.
CALLIE: Jimmy! No! ~ ~ ~
That's when she woke up. The scream yanked Jimmy from his
peaceful sleep. He immediately pulled her into his arms. She looked
into his eyes as tears ran down her face.
CALLIE: You had a gun.
Jimmy's stomach lurched.
JIMMY: What?
Callie pushed back from him.
CALLIE: The night you were shot, you had a gun.
Jimmy ran his hand through his hair.
JIMMY: Yeah. Yeah I did.
CALLIE: Why?
JIMMY: Why don't you tell me what else you saw in your dream first.
For the first time ever, Callie felt uneasy around her husband.
She very slowly revealed what she had seen.
CALLIE: … Pegasus was my grandfather. I think Barek's my uncle. I
yelled something and you told me to get out of there and that's when the
shooting started.
Jimmy nodded.
JIMMY: That's pretty much what went down.
Callie glared at him.
CALLIE: Explain to me. Explain to me why you had a gun!
Jimmy rubbed the back of his neck.
JIMMY: Barek gave it to me.
CALLIE: Why would Berek give you a gun?
JIMMY: He saw some of your grandfather's men lurking around the sub.
He wanted to make sure you were safe.
CALLIE: So you just took it? No questions asked?
JIMMY: No. … Barek told me everything.
CALLIE: When?! When did he tell you?!
JIMMY: Baby…
He tried to stroke her hair, but she batted his hand away.
CALLIE: Don't fucking touch me right now. When did he tell you?
They both had tears in their eyes.
JIMMY: A week before the shootout. … I was gonna tell you what was…
CALLIE: Don't!
JIMMY: Callie…
Callie got out of bed and ran into the bathroom. He had lied to
her. For seven years, he had lied to her. Callie locked the door,
turned on the water and let it get really, really hot. She had the
sudden need for a shower. Jimmy knocked on the door.
JIMMY: Baby, let me in.
CALLIE: Leave me alone.
JIMMY: We need to talk about this.
CALLIE: Leave Me Alone!
Callie stepped into the shower and let the water run over her
body. A thousand things were going through her mind, but the one thing
that kept slamming into her was the deceit of her husband.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
When Callie came out of the shower, Jimmy was sitting on the bed.
She walked past him and went to her dresser and began to dress.
JIMMY: What are you doing?
She went into her closet and grabbed a pair of jeans and a t-
shirt.
CALLIE: I'm going to Sydney's.
JIMMY: Why?
CALLIE: Do you even have to ask?
Tears rolled down his cheek.
JIMMY: I love you Callie. I just didn't want to see you get hurt.
Callie went back into her closet and grabbed her overnight bag.
JIMMY: Please don't.
Callie went into the bathroom and grabbed her stuff out of there.
She put it in her bag and then headed toward the bedroom door.
CALLIE: I want you out of here.
JIMMY: Baby no!
She was fighting back the tears.
CALLIE: I can't be around you right now, and it's a lot easier for you
to leave then for me to uproot AJ. I'll be back tomorrow after class.
When I get home, I want you gone.
Jimmy felt like he was having a heart attack. The pain in his
chest was excruciating.
JIMMY: Please Callie, please.
CALLIE: Goodbye.
When Callie walked out of the room, Jimmy broke down. His
entire life had just ended.
