Oh, for heaven's sake!!! Didn't you just read that the page would be forthcoming shortly??? Instant gratification takes waaaay too long, these days, huh? Well, while you're waiting upon my every, fascinating word about my favorite singer, why don't you check out
Nettwerk's Sarah Page??? You'll not be disappointed. *He hopes...*
If it'll make you feel any better, how about I let you know the caliber of material on which I'll be focused? S'all right?
The first thing I plan on putting on is a full review of Sarah's absolutely-amazing show at Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theater, on Sat., October 11, 1997. Never before have I been so blown away by such an intense crowd who was totally mezmerized by Sarah's musicianship. To use the word "reverent" to describe us is only out of a lack for a better word. Honest. I'll post her two hour-plus show's complete set list, and I'll see if I can dig up some celebrity info from the show, as well.
"Well, Ben, where are you going to take us from there?,"
you may very well ask... Truthfully? I haven't the slightest. I'll most likely use this as a reference point to some other artists whom I deem worthy of notice, but there's a fine line that exists between creativity in one's page design and simply presenting the same material as everyone and his brother who has even the remotest interest in the topic. The bottom line is that there is a limited amount of information that I can present about both Sarah and her music. She's no less human than you or me. Think for a moment what nature of things about yourself that a page-designer might find to be "news-worthy," were they doing a page to showcase YOU. Borders intrusive, sometimes, no? *This is where you nod your head and smile*
So. I hope that you keep checking back on a regular basis to see what manner of progress that I've made, only promise me that you'll be patient. Go see what Nettwerk has to offer about our Muse, and soon enough, I'll have some other links up to fan-designed pages that tout themselves to be something-on-a-stick, and truly are...
Or, go home...
Heck. I feel guilty for getting all of this up and running, and not showing you anything more than I've time for, just now. How about a picutre of Sarah and her black lab, Rex??? It's one of my favorites of her... I present... Sarah McLachlan and her doggie, Rex.
(NOTE: Rex is a "she." Remember, this is the animal named by the founder of Lilith Fair, the big feminist music festival. Should her dog's name surprise you, then? Not really...)
