This is one I saw with my mom over the holidays.  Nicholson is great, bottom line.  The story is fine, but it's Nicholson's character that makes this so good.  There are some funny parts, especially when Kathy Bates gets naked, OK, not so funny.  This is really a movie for an older audience, but I enjoyed it anyway.
