Reviews of "Antwone Fisher" by The Four Bastards

Based on the story by none other than Antwone Fisher!  Crazy...

Synopsis -- Neither of the reviewing bastards wrote one for it, and I have no idea, but you can look it up on the IMDB

Short declaratory phrase(s) in an attempt to get quoted in TV trailer, ad, or cover box --

"Even more impressive than 'Player's Club!'"

"Denzel's face is all over this poster!"

"Amazing-- I didn't fall asleep even once!"

Ryan's review:

This film is very solid on all the levels that matter. It is well acted, well directed, and is a great, simple story. I do love that Denzel does a directorial debut without making the point of throwing "check out the director" shit in it. You know what I am talking about, you sassy bitch. A crazy shot thrown in here and there, and worst of all, some obscure reference to past works or Angleopolis.  Denezel just directs a very good film. What is truly great here, is the writing and the story. Simply stated, it is beautiful and a must see. Yes, I said it was beautiful, you whore. I am still a real man. Oh and by the way, anybody that thinks our reviews on the film "Player's Club" were unfair, check this shit out...ANTWONE FISHER is an incredible movie that brings to life an African American man's struggle. It brings to the American cinema an understanding of life that few films have and it reaches to a human level that we ALL can relate to universally. So if you think strippers and gangstas' are the way we are supposed to appreciate the hardships of a life we do not understand, fuck you. Strippers strip to feed drug habits and gangstas' feed those habits. And I tip the strippers well. Sorry to get into such a rant on what should be a cut and dry, "go see it" review.

Rating: 8 out of 10 tear jerking moments that this movie provides...GO SEE IT.

Jason's review:

This review will not be funny and will be relatively short.  All I have to say is go see this movie.  Denzel is a great actor and just raised his stock by showing that he is a great director.  This movie is emotional but isn't sad.  It is just a great movie.  Great cast, great characters and great story.
No relation to Nate as far as we know.
