Jason's review:

I went into this movie with extremely low expectations.  I mean come on Eddie Murphy is over.  So maybe that is why I liked it so much. It is really funny.  Eddie is just as much over the top as Owen Wilson is under.  It makes a really good combination.  I don't think this has anything to do with the original "I Spy" other than the title, which kind of sucks, but then again I never saw any of the original anyway.  Go see this movie it is a lot of fun.

Rating: 4 out 5 comedies that pair up a black guy and another race hoping for laughs

Nate's review:

I liked this movie like a slap across my fucking face!  No, just kidding.  I Spy was hilarious!  We liked 'em.  Eddie is pretty good here.  I don't know what else to say about Owen Wilson.  Let's face it, the man can do no wrong.  I thought all the funny parts of this movie would have been on the trailer.  Not so, my friend!  Good stuff abounds in this movie.  The whole Cyrano de Bergerac thing evidently can never get old or overused, even in the "love scene" with Owen and Famke.  I know it's probably too late to see this in the theater, but go ahead and do yourself a favor and rent the son of a bitch bastard.  You won't be sorry.  Unless you forget to return it and accrue late fees.

Rating: 7.5 out of 10 roles that Antonio Banderas would have been perfect for!

Tim has yet to review this film, or any other film for that matter besides "Signs," which, even though it was one hell of a review, does not make up for the lack of other Tim content on this site.
