Storyline: | Because his dad is often without a job Danny Fisher (Elvis) has to work in the nightclub 'Blue Shade'. There he meets Ronnie, the girlfriend of the nightclub-owner Maxie Fields. After he is expelled from high school because of his behavior, he joins a gang after he defeating their leader, Shark. In another nightclub, 'King Creole' , he finally gets a job as a singer. Night after night the nightclub fills upl.Maxie Fields tries to get Danny back in his club and he even tries to use his girlfriend, Ronnie, as bait. But she warns Danny not to worf for and become dependent of Maxie. Danny turns Maxie down and Maxie wants revenge. Danny has to fight both Shark and Maxie, he wins but is hurt. Ronnie hides him and takes care of him. When Maxie finds them he kills Ronnie, but before he can kill Danny he gets shot by one of his own people. |
