Storyline: | Charlie Main (Elvis) performs every night in 'Mother's Tea House', a student-bar. He surrounds his songs with remarks to the audience, which leads to a quarrel one time. After the fight he drives on his motorcycle away. On his way a jeep drives him off the road. In the jeep are Cathy Lean (Joan Freeman), her jealous father and the owner of a carnival-attraction, Maggie Moore (Barbara Stanwyck). Charlie gets involved personally with Cathy and for business with Maggie. The business flourish again when Charlie starts singing. When he departs again after a fight, the business seems to go to a creditor. But Cathy gets Charlie back for the business, and herself. |
