Storyline: Frankie (Donna Douglas) and Johnny (Elvis Presley) sing together on a Mississippi-Showboat, which is at the same time a floating casino. Frankie loves Johnny, but his love for gambling and the beautiful Nellie are between them. After a dramatic intermezzo Frankie wants to love Johnny, regardless his weaknesses.
