The Brain That Wouldn't Die 1959AKA: The Head That Wouldn't Die A doctor (Yes he's Mad Doctor complete with an assistant that's got a twisted up arm and hobbles around dragging one leg in the finest Igor fashion) is experimenting with human organ and limb transplants. Of course the good doctor screws up a bit, cause after all, we do need a monster or two, don't we? Anyhow, he gets into a car crash and his girlfriend losses her head, literally.
The good doctor goes out looking for another body as a replacement.
Not just any body mind you, but
a hubba hubba super sexy body. Like an eleven out of ten body. He cruises a few seedy strip bars and the like. Finally he comes across the perfect body, and what luck, her face is disfigured and could sorta use a new head anyway. He tells her he can fix her up with a new type of plastic surgery and she follows him back to his lab.
But his gal's head, which is sorta just hanging around the lab in a pan of Kool Aid while
he's gone, develops ESP or mental telepathy or somethin' like that. Now that she's had some time to think about it, she figures
she should be dead and she'd like to take the doctor with her. Unfortunately, she can't kill herself or the doctor because she's got no
arms or legs or stuff like that. So she starts mentally communicating
with the monster that's locked in the closet who also wants to snuff the doctor
for making him a monster. The monster does a bang up job of it too.
