A Roger Corman Super Cheapie...

The cast of nutty characters includes:

Renzo - A gangster and killer that has been deported from the USA. He looks and acts very much like Humphrey Bogart.

Marybelle - Renzo's bimbo and gun mall.

Sparks Moran - AKA Agent XK150 , a government spy who always walks around with a bent cigarette hanging from his mouth and has infiltrated the gang. He also does the horrible narration.

Happy Jack - Marybelle's dim-witted brother.

Pete - Another dim-wit that spends the entire movie vocalizing animal sounds.

Plus a bunch of Cuban soldiers.

I hadn't seen this thing for quite a few years and had forgotten just how bad it was. As soon as I saw a guy getting a shoe shine on his cloth tennis shoes I knew it was gonna be crappy.

As Castro takes over Cuba a lot of the old guard are trying to flee the island with stolen loot. One such group hires Renzo to get them to safety on his boat. Renzo and crew have other ideas though, like bumping off the Cubans and keeping the loot for themselves.

They come up with the idea of making the killings look as if done by a sea monster. They knock off one of the Cuban's with hand held garden rakes and leave tracks with a toilet plunger. Two items that I never go boating without. Only problem is that a real sea monster shows up and knocks off a second guy. That's okay though, these dipsticks can't remember whether they killed one or two.

As they're cruising along they are pulled over by the Cuban Coast Guard while Marybelle sings the title song, hey, where'd that piano music come from? They machine gun the Coast Guard guys and carry on.

As they near an island they intentionally crash the boat into some reefs and dump the treasure chest overboard. This gives the bad guys an opportunity to bump off some more Cubans as they dive for the treasure. Of course the real sea monster shows up and adds to the carnage. Finally the monster attacks the boat and does everybody in except Sparks who beats it to shore with a woman that he discovered on the island. They live happily ever after and the monster keeps the treasure.

The monster is a flop, the comedy is a flop, the whole bloody movie is a flop. But if you like horrible bad movies, as opposed to just bad movies, then you may like this one.
