A young couple are zooming along some backroads when they loose control of their motorcycle. They end up in a field with the burning bike on top of the girl.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, there is a plastic surgery clinic stuck way out there in the boondocks near them, the two are rushed there for treatment.

The guy is treated and released within days. He returns to Montreal and awaits the return of his girlfriend who's in much worse shape. The doctor tries out a new kind of experimental skin graft on her but something goes drastically wrong.

She grows some kind of stinger thing under her arm that she injects into her victims and sucks some of their blood out. The good part is that this desn't kill them. The bad part is that the victims develop rabies and within hours are out munching on others spreading the disease like wildfire.

She makes her way to Montreal and soon there are infected people running around everywhere. Marshall law is invoked and the city is in a panic.

Schlocky flick is okay in a "Night Of The Living Dead" sort of way. It left me wondering how somebody could grow this stinger thing from a skin graft, but what the hell, it's a David Cronenberg piece. Porn queen Marilyn Chambers is not afraid to show off her ASSets or her boobs. Lots of blood but not really that much gore. Check it out.
