A giant octopus is loose in Solana Beach and is brunching on any goofball that happens by. Bo Hopkins is called in with his two killer whales to rectify the situation.

An obvious Jaws rip off in every way except quality. It even has one guy being pulled through the water exactly as in Jaws. The action scenes aren't too bad but they're few and far between. The grand finale where the killer whales are attacking the octopus are so dark and shadowy that it's impossible to tell what the hell's going on. Lousy music and there's more padding in this one than on Shelley Winters' butt. Made in Italy and it stinks like a rotten pizza. I don't know how it's possible to make such a turkey with such an experienced cast of stars.
