A glance, a look, a gentle touch. These seemingly insignificant events have changed a life forever. There is much that is mundane, routine, predictable. Life also offers a "special moment" to a few. That "moment", a chance to entangle two people in an envelope of trust, friendship, and deep and abiding love, makes all the mundane of no consequence. I have lived but only with you have I been so blessed. The previous seem so insignificant. They are like a blur in the face of the vivid colors, smells, skipped heart beats that I experience now. Two people, with totally different backgrounds, disperate ages, serendipitously tossed together, and their hearts sing. A relationship that transcends physical, emotional, tactile bounds. A relationship with an element of sadness; societal barriers that prevent these two from fully consumating their love in life. We are blessed, as few often are. Our times together are cherished like fine wine, and these special moments give purpose to my life.
