DIRECTIONS:
-
Rub the cut edge of a strip of lemon peel around the inside rim of an old-fashioned
glass and then dip the glass into the dish of sugar so that the sugar adheres
to the inside rim.
-
Twist the 2 other strips of peel over the glass to release their oil, and
drop them and the 1/2 stick of cinnamon into the glass.
-
Warm the cognac in a chafing dish or in a deep spool held over a flame.
-
Set a spoon in the glass to prevent the glass from cracking, pour in the
warmed cognac, and set it aflame with a match.
-
Let it burn itself out, the add the hot coffee and serve.
