RECIPE NAME:  NO FAIL - 7 MINUTES FUDGE

 INGREDIENTS:
5 cups sugar -
1 large can evaporated milk -
12 ounces chocolate chips -
6 ounces butterscotch chips -
2 tablespoons vanilla -
2 sticks butter
 
DIRECTIONS:
  •  Dissolve and bring to a boil the sugar, canned milk and butter.
  • At start of a rolling boil set timer for EXACTLY 7 minutes and continue to stir.
  • At end of 7 minutes add 12 ounces chocolate chips and 6 ounces butterscotch chips and vanilla.
  • Stir until creamy and pour into a buttered pan and place in fridge to chill.
  • You can add nuts, marshmallows, raisins, or your choice after you have melted the chips.
  • You can also substitute 12 ounces of chunky or smooth peanut butter (Jiff or Peter Pan) for the 12 ounces chocolate chips for a wonderful fudge.
  • HINT: Never substitute for the  butterscotch chips as these are what gives fudge its creamy texture.
