RECIPE NAME:  DONUTS

PREPARATION TIME: 12 hours
 INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup butter softened (creamed)
1 cup sugar -
3 - eggs -
1/2 cup cream 15% -
4 cups flour -
2 teaspoons salt -
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg -
1/2 cup milk -
- - vanilla to taste
1 teaspoon baking powder -
 
DIRECTIONS:
  •  Mix creamed butter with sugar. Add eggs to the mixture one at a  time.
  • In sifted flour add baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
  • Mix everything together and add milk and vanilla.
  • Let dough rest in fridge overnight or at least a few hours in plastic wrap.
  • Roll out dough 1/4 inch, cut and deep fry.
