Bon Appétit DRINKS
RECIPE NAME:  EGGNOG
RECIPE BY: BON APPETIT!
SERVING SIZE: serves 20
PREPARATION TIME: 5 hours
 INGREDIENTS:
6 - egg yolks -
1/2 cup sugar white
2 cups milk -
1 cup white rum -
2 cups whipping cream -
 
  • DIRECTIONS:
  • Beat (with electrical beater) the yolks until light.
  • Add sugar and mix well.
  • Add milk and rum and mix well, then chill for a minimum of 3 hours.
  • One hour before serving, whip cream and stir into chilled mixture.
  • Return to refrigerator for an hour.
Notes:  When you serve, it is a good idea to sprinkle with either nutmet or chocolate.
