Bon Appétit BREADS & MUFFINS
RECIPE NAME:  POPPY-SEED MUFFINS 
RECIPE BY: BON APPETIT!

PREPARATION TIME: 45 minutes
 INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour -
1/2 cup  wheat germ -
2  teaspoons baking powder -
1/2 teaspoon baking soda -
2 - eggs beaten
1/2 cup honey -
1 cup plain yogurt -
2 tablespoons cooking oil -
1/2 cup poppy seeds -
 
DIRECTIONS:
  •  Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Grease (use Pam) 12 large muffin cups.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, wheat germ, baking powder and baking soda.
  • In another bowl, mix together 2 beaten eggs, honey, yogurt and oil.
  • Add dry mixture to liquid ingredients and stir lightly 10 to 15 times.
  • Fold in puppy seeds.
  • Spoon batter into prepared muffin cupts.
  • Bake on centre shelf 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
