 INGREDIENTS:
1 - egg yolk -
pinch - salt  -
pinch - pepper -
- - oil as needed
1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice -
 
DIRECTIONS:
  • Put egg yolk in a bowl and add salt and pepper.
  • Mix with a wooden spoon.
  • Mix in oil very slowly, a few drops at a time until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the vinegar or lemon juice.  Sauce should be thick and smooth.
