Well for the first time in Bond history the end titles lied about which would be the next Bond film. Moonraker came before For Your Eyes Only. Moonraker was inspired to be the next film due to the success that Star Wars and the soon to be out Star Trek The Motion Picture had generated in space. Where as Spy had a serious story line, the same was true for Moonraker, but the humor level in puns blew the roof off the house in this one. The movie did have a great fact based in science fact and not science fiction. Almost everything seen the film was possible. The story follows Sir Hugo Drax who is charge of building space shuttles for America and Britain should the like the one be loaned to them by the Americans. Unfortunately for the British the Moonraker shuttle never makes to Britain being hijacked in flight. Drax has like Stromberg before him have decided that the world is courrept and needs a new order. With a huge secret personal space program Drax has set out to destroy the earth from outer space with a toxin that kills people, but not plants or animals. James and Dr. Goodhead catch a filght on one of the Moonrakers and stop Drax cold.
