Part of this film was shot in Kentucky, but most was recreated in England at Pinewood. Goldfinger came out in 1963. This was the first Bond film not to revolve around Blofeld and SPECTRE. The main villain was Auric Goldfinger who has a master plan on how he can increase the net worth of his huge gold supply. By detonating a atomic bomb in Fort Knox the US gold reserve in Kentucky. Called Operation Grandslam Bond with the help of Goldfinger’s pilot Pussy Galore is able to stop Grandslam.
