A.J. Quartermaine

This original poor little rich kid, is starting to put everything that's wrong in his life, from his disastrous relationships to his drinking, on the shoulders of the man who actually is to blame - himself.

In 1991, A.J. was caught up in a scandalous affair with older woman Nancy Eckert, who later blackmailed him.

A year later, A.J. became engaged to wed scheming Nikki Langton, whom his father, Alan, paid off to beat a hasty retreat.

While working at the Port Charles Hotel, A.J. began sleeping with its co-owner, cousin Ned Ashton's lover, Julia Barrett.

In 1996, while driving drunk, A.J. was in a terrible accident that left his half-brother, Jason, with brain damage - and no memory of him or their family!

That same year, A.J. began dating Keesha Ward, the girlfriend Jason no longer could recall ever having loved.

In 1997, after revealing the truth about the accident to his family, A.J. took another drink - and took Carly Roberts to bed!
