| Jake Martin (Michael Lowry)

When this handsome rogue was born, his parents gave him his father's
name and expected him to follow in his father's footsteps. The little boy once known as
Joey now goes by the name of Jake and has made his parents proud by carrying on the family
        name at Pine Valley Hospital.
Jake was born Joe Martin Jr. to
Dr. Joe Martin Sr. and Nurse Ruth Martin in 1979. In 1990, Jake, then known as
Joey, wed unstable Emily Ann Sago. After Emily Ann miscarried her
and Joey's baby, she went crazy in 1991, and their marriage ended. In 1996, Jake, as he had begun
calling himself, returned from medical school without a diploma - or any intention of
getting one. Although Liza Colby married to
Adam Chandler, Jake didn't give up his pursuit of her. Jake found himself falling for
Allie Doyle in 1998 and almost fell victim to David's dastardly scheme. Jake agreed to be Liza's donor at
the fertility clinic in 1998. In 1999, Jake put his foot down
and demanded to play a role in his daughter's life. Little did he know that Adam was
really Colby's biological father. star biographyClick here for Michael Lowry's bio.
