Palmer Cortlandt

This self-made millionaire treats his family like they were an exclusive club, and as a result, it has very few members. Palmer likes to get his own way and when he doesn't, there's usually a price to pay!

Palmer and his daughter, Nina, moved in next door to Phoebe Tyler in 1979.

In 1980, Palmer persuaded Phoebe's ex-daughter-in-law, Donna Tyler, to become the mistress of Cortlandt Manor.

Stuart Chandler blabbed Palmer's real identity - Pete Cooney from Pigeon Hollow, W.V. - in 1984.

That same year, Palmer wed holy terror Cynthia Preston.

Palmer's personal nurse, Natalie Hunter, became his wife in 1987.

After marrying Opal Gardner, Palmer became a father again when she gave birth to their son, Peter, in 1992.

Plamer had a brief affair in the backroom at the Chicken Shack with Janet Green in 1995!

In 1998, Palmer refused to part with his priceless works of art, and it cost him Opal!
