Tad Martin
(Michael E. Knight)

Once the bad boy of Pine Valley, this artful dodger has grown into a
fine man. He's still as smooth and charming as they come, but now, he's also responsible
enough to be a good father to son Jamie and stepson Junior, as well as a loving husband to
Dixie.
In 1978, Tad was adopted by Dr.
Joe and Ruth Martin.
Pregnant with Tad's child, Dottie
Thornton got Tad to the altar in 1984.
Tad wed Langly Wallingford's
daughter, Hillary Wilson, in 1986. She divorced him that same year.
In 1989, Tad married the love of
his life, Dixie Cortlandt Chandler, and became a father figure to her son, Adam Jr.
In 1993, Tad took Brooke, the
mother of his son, Jamie, to be his fourth wife.
Gloria accepted Tad's
proposal of marriage in 1997 but refused to end her special friendship with Tad's rival,
Dimitri Marick.
Tad helped Edmund get Maddie back
from Dimitro after Dimitri whisked the infant away to Vadzel in 1997.
In 1998, Tad and Dixie teamed up
to help Opal with her troubles with Palmer and grew close again in the process.
Tad learned Adrian Sword was his
half-brother in 1998!
In 1999, Tad and Dixie walked
down the aisle for the third time!
