~Donna's new single apparently is "Falling", and it will be featured on the soundtrack for "Simply Irrestible", the new romantic comedy due out this month. So get the soundtrack, and support the movie!(2/4/99)
~Apparantely, someone at the WB likes Donna. The show "Dawson's Creek", known for it's hitmaking songs, have used "Harvest Moon", and "Take Me Home", which are both from "Blue Planet". Neither songs are scheduled as singles, so one wonders why the WB chose these instead of "I Could Be The One", etc. Well, I am not complaining...publicity is publicity.(11/23)
~Donnaphiles, rejoice. "Love Him" blasted to the peak of the Billboard Dance/Club Play with a vengeance! Hopefully, this will lead to mainstream airplay, and ultimately a big hit for our girl. So remember, call up stations, and request the #1 dance song in the country!(11/18)
~"Love Him" debuts on the dance charts at #26! If it goes any higher, I will make a chartmarker for it.(10/24)
~Tonight, Donna will be performing in front of a 100,000 person audience for the closing ceremonies of The Commonwealth Games. Hopefully this will help promote "Blue Planet", which is in serious need of PR right about now. One resident of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia(where the ceremonies are being held) says radio stations are giving "I Could Be The One" heavy airplay, so maybe this can be a good thing for our girl. Let's hope(9/21)
~I got an e-mail from a Danny Wilson fan saying that a song from 1987 entitled "Mary's Prayer"(Click here to hear it) sounds an awful lot like Donna's own, "I Could Be The One". Now before we start freaking out, thinking Donna is a song-snatcher, you all need to know that the guy,Gary Clark, who wrote the music for "Mary's Prayer" is a co-songwriter for "I Could Be The One". The parts of the song that sound different are obviously Donna's writing. Even Atlantic even states that it "borrowed" a little from the hit. So, since Clark is associated with the song, he can't commit enfringement on himself, huh? If you would like to find out more out Danny Wilson/Gary Clark, e-mail Brent.Sadly, in other news, Kristi's Donna Lewis Page has closed for good.(9/7)
~"Blue Planet" has finally been released!(8/18)
~Apparently, Seventeen has a promo for Donna's new album, "Blue Planet". Click here to see it. Also, just for you who need to know, "Love Him" has been shipped to radio stations, but WILL NOT be sold as a single to purchase(Thanks Atlantic). Anyways, request it, so we can make Donna a hit once more!(8/14)
~At the Lone Warrior's Donna Lewis Decadum, he claims he starring lead in a movie where Donna sings the theme song. People, it's a joke. I don't know why he did it, but he did. So don't get all excited, he's just teasin'(8/7)
~Fans of Donna, re-joice! We may see that Atlantic is pulling back with "Blue Planet", but apprantly, they feel differently about "Fool's Paradise". According to DMA's latest issue, "Fool's" has been re-issued with new remixes! I don't know yet how to purchase these new mixes, but I intend to find out. While you are waiting, read DMA'S (terrific) review of "Fool's Paradise"! Thats all for now!(7/13)
~"Blue Planet"'s release has been pushed back to August 18th, 1998. Atlantic Rep. Susan Swan confirmed to me today. On a better note, "Love Him" is planned to be released as a single in the U.S.(but considering all the set backs/changes, only time will tell). "I Could Be The One" has been released as a single in the foreign countries, and "Blue Planet"'s release is as scheduled there as well. I have received an advance press copy of "Blue Planet", so check the multimedia section for sound clips. Request songs you'd like to hear, and I will upload them.(7/6)
~"I Could Be The One" has been cancelled for a single release. The Atlantic Records exec said no singles were planned to be released, and that the album was going to be sold as an LP. This eliminates any chance of Donna having another radio smash. "Blue Planet"'s sales, I expect, will drop dramatically from this mistake. No further info was given to me, and "Blue Planet"'s release is still 7/14/98. I will call tommorow for a detailed explanation. Sorry everyone(6/24).

~There seems to be a problem with the release of "I Could Be The One". It has been pulled from CDNow, Music Boulevard, and CD Universe's stocks. Also, at CDWorld, ICBTO's release date is listed as 1/1/99(?). It is still listed for release at several places on the same initial date(6/23/98), and even some sites list it's release at 6/26/98. I will call Atlantic tommorow to see the deal. Lets hope for the best!(6/23)
~The title for Donna's new album is entitled "Blue Planet"(confirmed by the Fan Emporium), and it is availible(for sure) on July 14th,1998. The album is written, and produced by Donna. Also, Donna also got together with Enigma's Michael Cretu to try out some material. Extensive Info on "Blue Planet".(6/8)
~Sorry to say, there is actually no song by Donna called "Love Always". It was(as I predicted) a typo of "I Love You Always Forever". If you check CDBanzai and see a listing for "Without Love c/w Love Always", it's just an import version of "I Love You Always Forever". Click here to get a pic and some info.(6/6)
~Confirmed title for Donna's new single is "I Could Be The One". The single's b-side track is entitled "Harvest Moon". Buy the "I Could Be The One" single from CDNow by clicking HERE(will not be shipped until June 23rd release date)!(6/5)
~Today I phoned Atlantic to get the official US release date for "Could Be The One"(or now, possibly titled "I Could Be The One"). They said call back next week, so I am gonna...not that far away now. As of buying the new single, check out CDWorld and search. I have mine on order, and it'll probably be here soon!(6/1)
~Hot news!!! Donna's new single off of her still untitled new album is going to be released in the UK on June 12th!! It will be called "Could Be The One". If it is going to be released in June in the UK, chances it may come earlier in the US!! Keep a look out at CDNow!!(5/19)
~Called up Atlantic Records today, and got the low down on the release date for Donna Lewis's new album. The date the publicist said was July 14th. Remember the date is always subject to change(you know these record companies!). You can call 1-212-707-2000 and ask for publicity to get further info if you wish(4/15)
~Today, Donna Lewis's video "I Love You Always Forever" was featured on MTV'S (lame) program "12 Angry Viewers". For those of you who aren't aware of the program, it evolved around 12 low lives as they review videos, and speak their narrow minded opinoin. Donna's video was up for being smashed off MTV'S rotation forever alongside with No Mercy's "Where Do You Go", Los Del Rio's "Macarena(Bayside Boys Mix)", and Meryl Bambridges' "Mouth". Luckily, the loser turned out to be No Mercy(the poor chaps got smashed), but they still dissed Donna. One snotty African-American girl said "I'm tired of the blonde hair, blue eyed fascist.". She continued on saying, "Maybe if I had blue eyes, blonde hair, and no talent, maybe I'd get a record deal." First off, I took this very offensively, since I am a blonde. Second, being less pigmented doesn't mean your aren't talented.. that remark was racist and judgemental. Third, Donna has talent. She can play several instruments, orchestrate, write, produce, and perform a hell of a live concert. Swallow that, you dumb, racist bitch. So I encourage all of you to stop watching MTV, since it sucks anyways, and watch VH1. They support Donna. Also, write a letter to MTV, and tell them where they can stick their 12 angry viewers. I am sure am. NO ONE disses Donna without hell breaking loose. Ciao for now(4/3)
~Today, the DLO was added to Yahoo! Finally, some plugs!(2/22)
~As of right now, Donna seems to be recording her new album in Ireland. It'll probably kick ass. No word on when it will be released, but check back here frequently!(2/18)
