Scene one-Rachel was getting her mail when Ross breezed by her. As he saw her her stopped.
Ross:Hi. (Rachel tured to look at him.)
Rachel:Hi, (she said as she stared a little too long at him.)What are you doing here tonight? I thought it was your night with Ben.(They began the ascent up the stairs to Rachels apartment.)
Ross: Well, you know that radio contest they have everyday on that rock station you like?
Rachel:Yeah, its so easy. Even a dumbass would win.
Ross:Well guess what?
Rachel:What? (Rachel stopped on the third landing to look at him. He held out an envelope marked with his name.)
Ross: The question was about dinosaurs and someone happened to have the radio on at the muesum. I called up and won.
Rachel:I'm so sorry about that remark.
Ross: Don't be sorry. It was totally easy. (Ross said as Rachel opened the door to the apartment.) I expected Monica to be home by now.
Rachel: I guess Petes new restuarant is keeping her very busy. (She smiled and poked him.) Come on and tell me what you won.
Ross: Well its two tickets for a cruise.(He paused and saw a glint in Rachels eyes.)A romantic cruise.
(After a long moment of silence Rachel cleared her throat.)
Rachel:What are you gonna do with them?
Ross:I was gonna give them to Monica and Pete. But since they broke up just the sight of these tickets will make her cry. And I already asked Carol and Susan. They're both sea-sick prone.
Rachel:Why not ask whats her name? (Rachel tried to remember the last girl Ross had dated.)
Ross:I did. She didn't want to get her scalp burned off. (He looked down.) So I'm down to two options.
Rachel:What would they be? (She asked as she got herself a drink.)
Ross: First is that I give them to one of the guys but who knows when they are gonna date again.
Rachel:Sad but true. (She nodded.)
Ross:Then number two, (He looked at her.) I ask you.
Rachel:What?
Ross:Yeah, I ran out of options. Everytime I try to think of a new reason I keep coming back to you.
Rachel:If I say I'll go...can you promise me it will be totally friends.
Ross:Sure. (He stammered.)
Rachel:Okay. (Rachel clapped her hands together. Another one of those terrible long silences stretched between them. Rachel could feel Ross's eyes on her. Waiting for her to say something, say ANYTHING to end the awful stretch of silence between them.)
Rachel:When do we go?
Ross:Next Saturday. Its only a three day cruise, so it wouldn't be pushing anything. (He paused to take out Rachels ticket.) Wait.
Rachel: What? (She was very jumpy. Calm down, she told herself again. This is Ross! But then again this is Ross.)
Ross:The tickets say that there is only one room. (Ross gave Rachel her ticket to inspect.)What do we do about that.
Rachel:Not a problem. (putting the ticket down.) We can ask for a roll away bed.
Ross:Okay. (Rachel wandered around looking for her suitcase.) I'll pick you up Saturday morning.
Rachel: Great (she walked him to the door.) See you later on, you are gonna tell Mon right?
Ross:Yeah, I'll be back in a couple of hours.

(Scene two) As soon as the door closed Rachel ran for the phone.
Monica:Monica here
Rachel:Ross is taking me on a cruise!
Monica:Tell me all about it! See Joey and Chandler were right. You are totally getting back together.
Rachel:We'll see.After this weekend things are gonna change. Definitely change for the better I hope!

Scene Three-Saturday

(Rachel showed up in front of Central perk with suitcase in hand. Ross walked up to her and looked at her in her long flowing sunflower dress.)
Ross:You look nice.
Rachel:Really? Its Phoebes.
Ross: It looks better on you.Are you ready to go?"
Rachel: Okay. (She turned and hugged Monica who came outside to say goodbye.)
Monica:Have fun.(Rachel got into the car. You go girl! (She added. Chandler gives her a look.) What?

Scene Four-As they boarded the ship they gave Rachel a lei.
Ross:We're cruising around Hawaii. I don't know how they are gonna get to Hawaii and back in three days but I guess we'll just have to see right?
Rachel:Right.
(They were lead down a hallway to their room. As the got inside they noticed, just like on the ticket, there was only one double bed.)
Rachel:Wow. I was hoping they would screw up for once in a while and give us two beds.
Ross:I'm gonna go swimming." Ross said as he picked up his trunks and dashed into the bathroom.
Rachel:Thats not a bad idea. (She suddenly remembered that she had packed a swim suit of hers that Ross had liked on her. She doesn't remember if she actually swam in it...ever.)
Well I'm ready. (She called as she pulled it on. Ross came out and his jaw dropped so far it practically touched the floor.)
Ross: You're wearing THAT?
Rachel: Yeah.(She gathered up a towel.)
Ross:Why? (He looked hurt for a minute.)
Rachel:Well, I'm not seeing you anymore, and its worked for me before. (She started toward the door.) Unless you're jealous.
Ross: (unconvincingly)I'm not jealous.
Rachel: Right. (She reached for the handle to the door)
Ross (yelling)Okay!
Rachel: Okay what? I was gonna sunbath but SOMEONE had to make an issue of it.
Ross:It IS an issue. (He strode toward her.) I can't stand you looking that way, and I really can't stand the fact that I can't be the one guy who loves you in that thing.
Rachel:Why? I thought you were WAY over me. Into next Tuesday you said once.
Ross:Well I lied. (He grabbed her hand.) Rachel I will always love you. I know you can't forgive me for what happened, but why cant we move past that and be together again? (Ross said and closed his eyes.) I still love you, is what I'm trying to tell you.
(Rachel looked up at Ross's eyes. He was doing all he could to stop himself from crying. She reached up and brushed aside a stray lock of his hair. )
Rachel: I still love you too, Geller.
(Ross looked up at her.)
Rachel: And since we know about each others love, I somehow doubt that we can have the platonic cruise you hoped for.
Ross:What do you mean?
Rachel: I'm gonna stay here.And I think once the nights over I might have to throw away the swimsuit.
Ross: What do you mean? (He was very confused.She leaned up and whispered in his ear. )Oh, Okay.
Rachel:Your a dummy, but I love a dummy.
Ross: (turning out a light)Might as well go swimming.
Rachel: This room has a jacuzzi.
Ross:Oh! (Ross said as the other lights faded in room.)
