Jason sits on a plane playing with Michael. Michael cooed and giggled.
Jason: I hope it's not to late buddy. I hope she'll forgive me.
Jason couldn't believe the events of the last two months. A. J. falling off the wagon. Carly trying to come back and seduce him. A. J. giving up custody to Jason knowing Jason could give him a good life away from the Quartermaine curse. In a way Jason couldn't help but feel guilty. He knew Carly loved Michael but she needed help. Monica threatened to send her back to Ferncliff so Carly signed over full custody to Jason. Carly thought Jason, her and Michael would leave together but Jason couldn't do that. He had made a promise to A. J. and to Michael to always keep him safe even if that meant from his own mother. So on the night before Carly thought they would all leave together Jason boarded a plane for Paris with Michael. With Sonny and Hannah gone to his island paradise; Port Charles had nothing left for Jason. And everywhere he went reminded him of Robin. Jason was tired of waking up and reaching for Robin. The ache inside him never went away and if it wasn't for Michael it would eat him alive. He had to try he had to tell her he was wrong. He should have listened to her. If for know other reason to let her know she was right. But he also needed to tell her he loved her more today than he did yesterday or the day before or even the day they said good-bye.
Jason: Let's see if your dad fix this one Michael.
Jason got to Robin's door. He heard her talking. He wanted to cry she sounded beautiful. He walked toward the door. He heard her speak form within.
Robin: Do you know how much I love you??
Jason continued to listen intrigued.
Robin: I thought my life was over I thought I was going to die. Then you came along and made it all make sense again. I don't know what I would do without you.
Jason took a deep breath his heart began to break. Robin was in love. Not with him but with someone else. He looked down at Michael and walked out of the building. Dropping a stuffed frog on the floor. Robin sits on the floor inside her apartment. We see who she was talking to, on the floor with her are twin babies. Her twin babies they are about eight months old. Lila Breanna and Robert Jason. She starts getting them ready. There's a knock on the door. She keeps one eye on her kids and the as she answers her friend Ceci comes in.
Ceci: You dropped this Robin.
Ceci hands her the stuffed Frog. Robin looks confused.
Robin: Nope. It's not one of theirs.
Ceci: I found it on the floor in the hallway.
Robin: I wonder if they got it at daycare?
Ceci: Maybe it is cute.
Robin: We'll leave it on the counter for now.
Ceci looks over and walks quickly to Robert who is trying to crawl off the play mat.
Ceci: Sorry R.J. Got ya.
Robin: I swear he gets this determined look on his face that reminds me of his father.
Ceci smiles weakly at her. Robin tries not to be sad but everytime she thinks of Jason her heart breaks a little more. She tried to contact him but he didn't want to hear from her. All of her letters sent back. She even thought about going back and seeing him but the babies were too young and still being tested they only got a clean bill of health last week. It was official the babies were H.I.V. free.
Ceci: You still going back??
Robin: Right after my trip to Switzerland.
Ceci: To see that specialist?
Robin: Yes
Ceci: He does think it looks good right?
Robin: I'm hoping. Which is another reason why I have to go back. If something happens to me I want my kids to know there father.
Ceci: I still don't think you should go.
Robin: I have to. Jason has to know about his kids. And that they're healthy.
Ceci: I suppose. If you ask me.....
Robin: Ceci I already know what you think of him. You ready for the park?
Ceci: Sure I'll help you change the babies.
******************************
One week later Robin boards a plane going to Switzerland. She puts her things down in second class everyone was so crowded. She should have took Jax's offer for a chartered flight. From upstairs in first class she hears a cry of a baby. Robin smiles she knows that cry it's a cry of hunger. More and more people bang into her making her feel like a yo-yo. One of the flight attendants comes up to her.
Flight Attendant: I am sorry for this it must be hard with two babies.
Robin: It's all right we'll manage.
Flight Attendant: I am not supposed to say anything but the man in first class bought out all the seats. Apparently he didn't want his son being crowded around too. Maybe I could persuade him to let you sit up there with your kids.
Robin: No I wouldn't want to inconvenience.....
Just then someone accidentally bumps into on the twins passing through the aisle. Lila begins to cry. Robin hangs her head down low.
Robin: On second thought maybe I should ask.
Flight Attendant: Go ahead I'll watch your kids for you.
Robin goes up the stairs. She looks back and sees three flight attendants gushing over her kids. They are adorable they have their father's eyes, her smile. Robin hummed as she walked up the stairs not realizing she was holding the stuff Frog Ceci had found a week earlier. Jason stood there rocking Michael. Jason stayed in Paris for a week. Showing Michael all the sights. He didn't know why he was going to Switzerland. He didn't know where else to go. Maybe somewhere in the back of his mind an old dream called to him. He bought out first class so none would bother him and Michael. He was lost in thought when he heard a voice. Robin looked down at her blouse and brushed off a spot of dried formula.
Robin (not looking up): Excuse me I was wondering if you can help me?
Jason turned and saw her instantly his breath was taken away.
Jason: Oh my God!
Robin felt like she was hearing things for a moment that voice sounded like Jason. She looked up and saw that it was him. Jason put Michael down. He walked over to her. Robin stood there frozen. They stared at each other for a moment. Then suddenly Jason scooped her up the way he had not two years more than three years ago when he came to Paris to check on her. Robin responded laughing at first.
Robin: What are you doing here?
Jason: That's my question.
Robin: I'm seeing a specialist in Switzerland.
Jason (concerned): Is everything o.k.
Robin: Yes no activity in my system.
Jason: That's over three years now.
Robin: Yes that's why I am going to the specialist. To find out exactly what that means. I was going to stay at the Spencer compound in Switzerland.
Jason: For how long?
Robin: Indefinitely. What are you doing here??
Robin looks over at Michael then down at the stuffed frog.
Robin: This was yours?
Jason: Michael's
Robin: That's what I meant.
Jason: I came to say I was sorry.
Robin: Jason I....
Jason: No please hear me out. That day on the bridge I was wrong I said I didn't know you anymore. The truth was I didn't know myself anymore. I said I never wanted to see your face again and made you think it was because you hurt me. That wasn't true. I didn't want to see your face because when I looked into your eyes I knew I was wrong. I was wrong for making you think you were second, I was wrong for making you lie for me. I was wrong for not loving you the way I should have.
Robin starts to cry.
Robin: I am sorry I hurt you. But I couldn't get through to you and I was so hurt.
Jason: It was my fault. You were just being true to yourself.
Robin (quietly): Why didn't you read any of my letters??
Jason (looking confused): What letters??
Robin: You never got my letters?
Jason: Oh god Carly!
Robin: Does she know you're here?
Jason: It doesn't matter.
Jason fills Robin in on the whole story. Robin listens intently.
Jason: So that's when I decided to come see you. To tell you were right and to tell you....
Robin: Tell me what.
Jason (fighting the tears): That I love you Robin. I always have and I always will. I love you more today than the day you left. I know it's too late.
Robin eyes get wide. She throws her arms around him and kisses him deeply. Jason responds overjoyed at first then pulls back confused.
Robin: Jason, I love you too. I never stopped and I never dreamed you'd be here.
Jason (looks at her confused): I don't understand.
He follows her eyes down to the stuffed frog.
Robin: Jason I don't understand. Why didn't you come to the door?
Jason: I heard you inside. I heard you tell someone you loved them and how you never thought.......
Robin lets out a huge laugh. Jason starts to get angry.
Robin: No I'm not laughing at you. Wait a second. I'll be right back.
Robin races down stairs. The two flight attendants are holding the twins.
Flight Attendant: Did he said it was O.K.?
Robin: I don't know yet we'll see.
Another flight attendant comes into first class.
Flight Attendant: We'll be taking off in about 15 minutes.
Jason: Thank you.
Flight Attendant: I don't know if anyone has approached you but a young woman with twin babies is flying with us. It's extremely crowded in Second Class. We were wondering if she might be able to stay up here.
Jason: That shouldn't be a problem.
Robin walked back in nervous. She cleared her throat. Jason turned around.
Jason: Look we don't have much time. I told the flight attendant that I would let some woman and her babies fly up here with me. Can you stay maybe we could talk a little on the plane and when we land.
"Maybe I could make you forget about Mr. Wonderful" He thought to himself. Just then two flight Attendants came in with the twins. Jason looked at them and instantly fell in love. He walked over to them staring at their brilliant blue eyes.
Jason: They are very cute. Where's their mother?
Robin: I'm sure she'll be along shortly.
The flight attendants look at Robin confused. She shakes her head and ushers them away. They nod as she mouths thank you. Jason continues to play with them. He brings Michael over in his seater. Michael instantly giggles as do the twins. All three of the babies stare at eachother. Robin fights the growing lump in her throat.
Jason: I'm kind of worried. Where is their mother??
Robin (softly): Right here.
Jason turns and looks at Robin not understanding.
Jason: Where? Coming down the hall?
Robin: No she's standing in front of you.
Jason looks at Robin and makes the connection. He looks at the twins. He takes a good look and notices looks into their eyes. His eyes. Jason begins to tear up again.
Robin: These two angels are who you heard me talking to. This is Lila Breanna and Robert Jason. R. J. for short.
Robin walks over to them. and begins to unbuckle them.
Robin: These are you babies Jason.
She hands Lila over to him and then R. J . He holds his twins as Michael begins to cry. Robin unbuckles him and begins to soothe him. He takes a look around the room. At Robin, holding Michael then down at his twins. His family.
Robin: I tried to tell you.
Jason looks at Robin and smiles through his tears.
Jason: It doesn't matter we're here together.
Jason struggles to hold both his babies and leans down to kiss Robin.
Jason: Is there anyway I could charm you into an invitation to stay with you in Switzerland?
Robin: I can't ask you to drop your life...
Jason: Robin you are my life. You and these three right here.
Robin smiles.
Robin: How can I argue?
Jason: You can't when this planes lands marry me.
Robin: Just like that?
Jason: Would it be any other way?
Robin: No not us. I will.
They kiss again holding their kids. The flight attendant announces overhead to buckle up. They buckle their kids in and sit down. Jason takes Robin's hand.
Jason: You ready?
Robin: Always.
