Genre: Teens in Peril

Cast:
  • Sean Astin as Billy
  • Lou Gossett Jr. as Dean Parker
  • Wil Wheaton as Joey
  • Keith Coogan as Snuffy
  • Andrew Divoff as Luis Cali

Plot Synopsis:

A moronic terrorist thinks it's a good idea to hold a reform school gang of boys hostage in exchange for the release of his jailed father. It's not, and our plucky group of teens manage to save the day.

Favorite Moments:

  • The delightfully gratuitous flogging scene with Sean Astin ("Oh, shit!") dripping wet, clad only in a towel
  • Sean Astin selling alcohol that "looks, tastes and smells" like mouthwash. This reminds me of the saying: "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck"
  • George Perez and T.E. Russell running around, jacking up the beefcake quotient
  • Wil Wheaton's Joisy accent. Crusher-haters take note: you'll get to see get to see him gunned down (point blank) in one of the all-time cheesiest, manipulative, unnecessary film deaths ever...
