Belial was a veteran sergeant in the World Eaters Space Marine Legion.
10,000 years ago, Belial led an Assault squad of the 2nd Company of the World Eaters. Belial took many skulls while cleansing worlds in the name of the False Emperor during the Great Crusade. Belial received visions before each battle that inspired him to untold heights of ferocity and carnage that disturbed even his battle brethren who were hardened to and always desired the pleasure of combat.
During the initial attack upon the northern section of the Emperor's palace, Belial led his squad in a chance to seize the heavily fortified gun emplacements on top of the central Bastion. Atop each bastion were enormous batteries of Turbo Laser cannon used to smash through the Traitor Legions chaos Titans and protected by Ultramarine dreadnoughts. Using experimental jump packs, his squad vaulted atop the mile high walls despite the murderous cross fire raking the Chaos front.
Although only Belial survived, his squad managed to destroy the gun emplacements inside the Bastion enabling the Traitor Titan Legions to smash the walls to rubble unmolested.
Frothing at the mouth in the throes of another vision, Belial heard the Blood Gods urgings and new raging energy coursed through him. Belial attacked 2 Ultramarine dreadnoughts in close combat. Using an ancient power claw Belial himself destroyed two Ultramarine dreadnoughts on top of the bastion by ripping their legs off and casting them to the ground below.
Khorne was pleased with his actions that day and Belial has since begun his ascension to becoming a Bloodthirster. Large, leathery, bat-like wings sprout from his back and a fraction of the Bloodthirsters energy courses through him.

The claw will wound any model with psyker on a D6 roll of 2+ regardless of their Toughness since Warp energy flows through it.

To create Belial
This is a suggestion on how to convert Belial. Take the chaos champion - the one with the power claw raised in the air (don't know what the stock # is)
1st cut off the bolt pistol and attach a plasma pistol instead. Then get a pair of wings from the Tyranid gargoyles and the plastic base that you mount them on too.
Ditch the back pack, that's where the wings will go - you'll have to bend the wings a little and do some filing to make them fit - but it looks really good once they're on.
Drill a hole in the models right foot on the underside, so you can mount him on a gargoyles base. Attach the wings and the pistol arm and voila - Belial.
I painted mine with shining gold then dry brushed it a with chaos black, to give the armor a worn appearance. Also I painted the wings with chaos black then I drybrushed it with my own blood to give it a rusted appearance(dedicated to KHORNE!!!!) After that dries, dry brush the raised parts of the wings with crimson gore. The spikes on the bottom of the wings I painted skull white, then put a very light coat of crimson gore on them to make them stand out. All of the trim on the armour was then painted chaos black and after it's dry I painted it crimson gore also. I used brazen brass here and there on the odornments. The power claw, - paint the fingers skull white first, then paint the tips with putrid green. The 2nd joint in forest green and the last joint in a darker green(I used a different brand for that) now Highlight the edges of the claws in liche purple and paint the rest of the claw with crimson gore.
