Comments: Thank you very much for your website. I am working toward a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and I also am a PCA (personal care attendant) for a beautiful young lady with Spina Bifida. She has made SO MUCH progress towards her independence goals and is about to graduate from high school and attend college this fall. She is going to be staying in a dorm room BY HERSELF!! :) I appreciate all of your effort towards this website and I encourage all of you parents of children with Spina Bifida to keep striving for your child's goals. :)
I ended up doing my "Shoebox Project" for my nursing class on Spina Bifida, and the class was very interested. I also am inclosing a picture of myself and my client and a friend. We decided to go skating one day (I'm in the black). Thank you again for your website.

Hi my name is Jacki sue and I was born with Spina Bifida.
I am 22 years old and have had 24 surgeries since the day I was born. My brother was
born with Spina Bifida also. We were very fortunate because we can both
walk and do things that most other people can do.
I am looking for people my age to talk to about this and to be friends with. My brother doesn't
like to admit that he has Spins Bifida so it is hard to talk to him about
this. I would love to hear from as many people as possible.
