DEEP THROAT and X: Less obvious were Mulder's inside sources. The first came in the form of a graying trench coated man named Deep Throat. (named after the watergate informant) Before his death he helped Mulder along. He gave him valuble tips and the occasional lie. " Some secrets should remain secrets," he once said after throwing Mulder off with a fake picture. " Truths that people are just not ready to know." After Deep Throat was killed Mulder found a replacement named X, a far pissier informant who worked for Cancer Man. Eventually he was slain to, but not before he scrawled out the name of United Nations division (SRSG) in his own blood. There Mulder has found Marita Covarrubias, who look like she may be X's heir apperent.Why Deep Throat and X were helping Mulder is still unclear.
THE WILD CARD: Alex Krycek- former Cancer Man henchmen, he killed Bill Mulder, know a freelance "player" selling government secrets to foriegn countries, will continue to be a thorn in The Syndicate and Mulder's side.
THE GOVERNMENT: If you belive THE X FILES than you will think that the government is full of conspiracys,secrets, mass black groups, and "groups within groups". In addition to alien high jinks the government has been involved in everything from, sleep-erradication projects, mind control through subliminal television to spraying phycosis inducing toxins. That the government-the one on C-SPAN- is just a pawn to The Syndicate.
