Our Groups
Information on how to participate to our groups is available from our office (phone +39-2-58107084).
- Home Assistance Group:
- This group provides social and sanitary support according to the basic ethical rule not to substitute neither for the physician nor for the family. All members of this group have been specifically trained.
- Self-help Groups:

- Parents and relatives group
- Mixed group (gay and heterosexual people)
- Gay groups
- Groups inside S. Vittore jail for convicted HIV people
- Seronegative partners group
- Counseling Group:
- This group deals with direct and personal information and communication on AIDS and related problems, both by phone and person-to person.
All members of this group have been specifically trained. Starting from September 1st, ASA offers an experimental "counselling on line" service (limited to Italy).
- Updating Group:
- This group promotes and manages contacts with other associations, institutions, hospitals to organize and share events and meetings.
- Ekotonos Group:
- This group takes care of convicted HIV+ people, trying to make detention more acceptable and to create a connection with the outside world.
- EssePiú Group:
- This group edites, publishes and distributes the official ASA newsletter and keeps in touch with other Italian and international organizations and magazines to acquire and exchange information on AIDS.
- Complementary Treatments Group:
- This group collects medical and scientific information on complementary treatments and cooperates directly with other associations and with physicians to integrate the knowledges.
- Names Project Group:
 This group prepares the panels to be added to the Italian AIDS Quilt "Coperta dei Nomi". ASA is the Italian official chapter of International Names' Project. It is also possible to organize the exhibition of the panels all over Italy on request.
- Events Group:
- This group promotes and manages contacts with theatres, discos, events organizing institutions and so on to set-up desks for information on AIDS and fund collection.
- Red Ribbon Group:
 This group prepares the red ribbons to be distributed in occurence of public events.
- Theater Group:
- Can you act, sing, play, dance? Would you like to do it? Do you love theater? If your answer is "yes", you can join our Theater Group. Call our office from 1.00 P.M. to 7.00 P.M. for further information (phone: +39-2-58107084).
