From the beginning of my life here there has always been at least one pet in my life. Always one kitty. Even though my Dad and Mom raised twelve kids they still included pet's in our growing up years.
Pet's have a healing quality about them, and their devotion gently lifts your spirit toward gratitude and joy. I am blessed to have 2 cats at the moment.
The oldest is a male black and white, "Tuxedo" aka;'Tux Deluxe.' You guessed it, he wears a marked tuxedo, but he is also very big as well as being very cool!
"Caesar" aka;'Fuzzy Face', and of course there is a story behind this cute and sassy American Bobtail. He wears a water repellant top coat of grey with black and white markings and underneath rabbit coat of & white hair (with fancy pants), thick tuffs on paws and ears. Although it's difficult to actually see 'Tux' because of the black back...he is a big Cat of 22lbs. Can't pick him up to often with FM! :-)
They of course being each unique have certain ways of expressing themselves. Tuxedo is a sweet thinking kitty, an observer, and acts on the observations. He tries to open doors, sew on the sewing machine and is learning not to eat all of Caesar's food after he finishes his own. ***My sweet velvet "Tux" died from a tumor in the upper GI tract on Wednesday August 26, 1998 and lived a short 8 years with us. He is sorely missed.
'Caesar' on the otherhand is 100% (American Bobtail) cat with an attitude...if it's his idea only. He announces his comings, goings, dislikes and victories. I once taught him not to bring me any more malled birds ...so he now proudly hunts for the biggest and best leaves to bring, and announces his conquest with fervour to me. These darlings keep me laughing.
