Amen to this! For God has shown me all these things to be true in my own life. He has given me freedom to ride over the winds of the earthly tides. From restless spirits, the cruelty of man, illness, death and loneliness...yes, Jesus Christ has freed me up from so many things! I praise HIS Name!!!
Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, paid the ultimate sacrifice. Out of love this gift was given to us freely. By His shed blood we are allowed to commune with our Creator. This is not to be taken in a casual manner, to trust in Christ means every thought, deed, and word should carefully go before the Saviour...we are accountable to Him. I am learning this more each day, and many times have forgotten the ultimate sacrifice of my Lord, of which again, and again, I go before Him in confession. Each time honing out the mistakes one by one, by His loving grace. For this I thank Him and praise Him.
The personal relationship with Jesus Christ is like no other...it is truly a personal relationship.
