I have always looked up to the heavens. Sometimes for inspiration, other times in despair, but always in awe.
We are part of the universe. An infinitesimal part perhaps, but a part just the same. I have often thought that as the moon affects the oceans,
it must affect us! (after all our bodies are over 90% water)!
The word "looney" refers to "lunar" and I hear phrases such as "howling at the moon", lovers moon, etc.
More babies are born, and homicides committed on a full moon.
Then, perhaps astrology is based on some primtive foundations. I don't plan my life around it, yet it does intrigue me.
At work or home, when reading my horoscope, someone will say "what does mine say?". So we believe, yet we don't believe.
Astrology is fun (in it's proper context), it is interesting, and it makes us think.
We are often at the center of our own universe, but look beyond those boundaries.....there is so much out there!!
