Sr. Teresa Clements peacefully passed away, in her community: St. Joseph Convent, Layhams Road, West Wickham, Kent BR4 9QJ ; tel:  (44) 208-777 5730.

48 th year of her religious profession, aged 67 years, Sr. Teresa touched the lives of many people through her teaching, music and prayer ministry and was an outstanding member of the Lumen Christi Prayer Group and its Pastoral Committee from its very inception in 1970s. Teresa initiated with deep devotion the Nazareth (Silent Prayer) Ministry in late 1970s which has now spread into five continents.

Who in Lumen Christi until 1990s can forget Teresa? Her uplifting teachings cannot easily fade from the minds of those who heard her that time. With our highest praise to the Lord we recall her teaching that focussed on “… wounded healer, wounded but yet an instrument of God’s healing”, which she lived herself suffering from cancer for the last ten years. A life of prayer for the needs of others, and doing with joy what the Lord permitted her to do.

The Lord has received her to his loving arms. We remember her with deep love, prayer and joy.

The Requiem Mass will be celebrated on 9 March 2007 at 11.00 a.m. at the Main Chapel, Daughters of Mary and Joseph, Layhams Rd, West Wickham, Kent BR4 9QJ
