Don't look now, Lord!

I don't want you to see me

standing here with my foot

crammed in my mouth.

Don't worry child

If I didnt love you just as much

with your foot in your mouth

I'd hardly ever get a chance to love you!

KEEP SMILING

If at times you feel you want to cry

And life seems such a trial

Above the clouds there's a bright blue sky

So make your tears a smile.

Among the worlds expensive things

With its many ups and downs

Remember its quite true to say

One smile is worth a dozen frowns.

Happiness comes at times to all

A smile is very cheap

And when you give a smile away

You get one back to keep.

So when friends have sadness on their face

And troubles round them piled

The world will seem a better place

And all because you smiled....:)

Judge me not for beauty

Judge me not for charm

Don't scrutinize my imperfection

And all the uneven stitches

But listen to the story

That's trying to be told

There's a wolf raging inside of us

And that wolf is called Lupus

Oh, for so long

We've stood alone

Feeling completely powerless

Loss of control

Our belief and faith fading

The raging wolf acts in mysterious ways

Attacking us here

Attacking us there

Till the body fails completely

Our mind's intact, trapped inside

Listen to our cries of help

Hear our powerless pleas

Behind each quilt

Is a story to tell

Of strong spirits

Who carry on to help each other

Through pain and trilas no other could understand

Of tears, and love, and many hearts

To meet in unconditional friendship

We stand together

Our voices loud to be heard

So with a stitch in time

Block by block

Held together with threads of love

We unite to educate

And say you're not alone!

MY FRIENDS, THE ANGELS

An angel here, an angel there,

I'm surrounded by angels everywhere.

When I'm in the middle of the terrible storm,

They come with their candles to keep me warm.

An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,

An angel to fill that dark hole inside.

An angel to cry on, an angel who cares,

I'm surrounded by angels, everywhere.

The angels who reach out when times are tough,

Who will listen to my heartache,

And all kinds of stuff.

Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night,

The angels surround me with comforting light.

I guess God is busy and can't come on down,

To give me a smile and take care of m frown.

So he sent a few angels to brighten my day,

And help to carry my burdens away.

So thank you dear angels,

More than you'll know,

For watering the happiness,

And making it grow!

TO TOUCH THE HEART

To touch the heart of someone dear,

Though it might sometimes cause a tear,

To fall of rest upon the cheek,

Should be somehting all should seek.

For often hearts not touched at all,

Start hardening and shrinking small,

And then the time it takes to grow,

A loving heart is very slow.

For hearts expand as those who care,

Extend their love and let us share,

A moment, space, or special phrase,

That eases pain on dreary days.

Or simply starts our lips to smile,

And brightens time for just a while,

The ways and kinds and means of sharing,

It seems to me are based on caring.

And though we're often worlds apart,

You still can touch my very heart.

You make me smile or shed a tear,

And I'll remember year to year.

And I just thought I'd tell you so!!!
