It is where he composed "The Blue Danube".

Pizzicato Polka

A Collaboration between Josef and Johann. First presented in Pavlovsk on June 24, 1869.
Baby Grand Piano

In 1896 Ludwig Bosendorfer commissioned this piano and presented it to Johann Strauss, who was a friend of his.

Standing Desk

Johann liked to compose while standing. This desk has a top which opens upwards, enabling the space beneath to be used for storing manuscripts.
Tableau with miniatures

This was presented to Johann Strauss on his 50th anniversary as an orchestra conductor (October 1894). Shown are Johann (above); Josef and Eduard (below left and right); and Johann Sr (below center).
Harmonium

The Instrument was ordered by Johann Strauss himself. It produced a piano-like sound which was very gentle. He liked to work at night, and this was hardly audible in the surrounding rooms.
