Reunion 2002

The weekend of June 7, 8, & 9 the Penn Hall campus came alive once again with alumnae walking the halls and grounds. The weather cooperated and we had a beautiful weekend. Registration began on Friday at 10 AM and reunion 2002 was off to a great start. We had various activities set up for Friday afternoon and some of the girls even took at trip down memory lane by going to the Molly Pitcher Waffle Shop for lunch.

Saturday began with our Association meeting where we elected new officers and discussed business and the future of the association. Saturday luncheon was held in the old PH dining room, using our PH dishes no less, where we honored Mrs. Helen Kelley, former riding instructor and gave our first equestrian award of $500 to a student from Wilson College. It's a wonderful feeling to know that we, as a body, still contribute to the continuing education and betterment of women.

That afternoon Nancy Hull Middour JC'51 opened her lovely cottage on the PH campus for all to visit and the indoor pool in the old Admin Building was open for swimming.

Saturday was topped off with the Distinguished Alumnae Banquet at the Sheraton with speaker Christian Larson White P'46 as speaker. She is known for her work on Broadway and in Hollywood as an actress.

Sunday ended our weekend with a short memorial service remembering those who have passed and a champagne lunch at Wilson College. We said our goodbyes with a promise to see one another again soon. Many made the commitment to return for reunion in 2005. Hope to see all of you there!!!
