Summoned from Tokyo Tower nine junior and senior
high school students disappear and go to another dimension called
the Digital World. There they must fight to survive in a war none
of them asked to be in, or risk not just the distruction of the
Digital World, but their own.
Basically, take Digimon Adventures anime series
and make Hideaki Anno the director and you have some idea of what
I'm doing with this series. With Omake added after each chapter
for more fun.
Episode 1 - The Call
Nine students are hurled into a world of adventure as they team
up with strange creatures called digimon when an evil creature
tries to kill them. One of the creatures, Agumon, evolves to
defend his partner, Taichi. But was that enough for victory?
Episode 2 - You're in the Army
Now.
It's a fight for survival just to get to the place their digimon
friends consider home. Life is certainly hard for the drafties in
this war.
Episode 3 - Briefing on the War
The Chosen arrive at the home for their digimon friends. There
they meet other digimon that are on there side. A mysterious man
named Gennai contacts them giving more information to help, but
the future looks bleak.
Episode 4 - First Sortie
The Chosen use a portal to find Digimentals, a power source that
will grant them more power to fight. However, battle finds them
before they are ready. With Koushiro and Palmon in danger, love
must take flight and save them.
Episode 5 - Mission of Courage
Hot on the heals of their first victory, the Chosen rush off to
obtain the Digimental of Yuuki. The past is relived in a
nightmare for Koushiro. When they find the Digimental, it is
heavily guarded and Daisuke is dubbed the leader of the Chosen.
He sets forth the plan to win the fight.
Episode 6 - A Killing War
The battle comes to an end, but who is the victor? The Chosen now
must find there way back to the portal to File Island as the
local lord's minions hunt for them, while they cope with the
realization to fight in a war means having to kill.
Episode 7 - Hunted
The Chosen become hopelessly lost as they run from their
persurers. Digimon blood on their innocent hands increase as they
struggle to survive. A river brings them more trouble as they
find a diner which could lead them salvation or their
destruction.
Episode 8 - Munitions are Dusted
Mimi refuses to allow the blood of death to splash over her and
chooses not to continue with the other Chosen, but soon gets a
lesson on what war truly is. The Chosen search for the Digimental
Seijitsu only to meet a terrible digimon with powers beyond their
comprehension.
Episode 9 - Call for Support
In the lands of an evil lord who is not a digimon, the Chosen
search for the Digimental Yuujou. The numerous Evil Towers
troubles the Chosen as they are attacked. They must retreat to
survive, but Daisuke does not want another failure.
Episode 10 - Break Through
Gaining a second digimon, Daisuke leads a bold attack. However,
they soon find themselves in a trap. The chaos of battle
enshrouds them as they fight their way to File Island. Can they
all make it to safety when the Digi-Kaiser unleashes his greatest
weapon?
Episode 11 - Hope Soars
The final Digimental mission offers a surprising respite and the
return of an old friend to the digimon. However, joyful
exuberance leads to an accidental.
Episode 12 - Security Breach
Koushiro has been learning a lot of things about the Digital
World when Ryo and his partner, Meramon, arrive to join the team
and the war escalates.
Episode 13 - Battle for Survival
The base's location has been compromised. The group must battle
their way through Devimon's forces, but are they any match for
Panjamon and his soldiers?
Episode 14 - Battle Plans
Having regrouped with Unimon's forces, the Chosen must prepare for the next stage of the war. Goal, defeat Factorial Fortress.
Episode 15 - Assault on Factorial Fortress
The battle against Andromon continues while Monzaemon has arrived with reinforcements.
Episode 16 - Fall
The next target for the Chosen is Overdell. As history repeats itself, are the Chosen acting as a force of justice or evil vengance?
Episode 17 - Beginnings and Endings
Panjamon's attacks has left many of the digimon injured. They believe they
have found a place that is safe from Devimon so they can heal, only to
learn they have led the serpent into paradise.
Episode 18 - Verses the Dark Lieutenant, Panjamon
Panjamon and three other Perfection level digimon wage war on the Chosen in Primary Village. Can the Chosen defeat them with only adult digimon partners?
Episode 19 - The Battle for File Island
The dark lord has revealed himself, now the children must fight him on his own terms.
Episode 20 - Hollow Victory
The final battle against the dark lord of File Island rages on, but at what cost will victor have to pay to win?
Episode 21 - New Mission
Gennai informs the Chosen of their next task while they recuperate from their last battle.
