Activities:

We run Millionaires' Evenings (better known as Casino evenings) for organisations and charities. These are held as social or fund-raising events. We charge a fee for our services which goes to our Club's charities.

At Easter-time we raffle off Easter Eggs in local shops and pubs for charity

Each summer the Club organises a water-sports event on the Chesterfield Canal. This is our annual "Canoe Paddle" from Worksop to West Stockwith. It is run in two stages, Worksop to Hayton and Hayton to West Stockwith with and overnight camp at Hayton.

Annually the Club presents bursaries to the outstanding student from those who are going on to university from each of the four schools and Rother Valley College. This has been running successfully for six years.

In August each year we provide the refreshments for competitors and organising Lions at the Lions Disabled Sports Day held in Doncaster.

During the two weeks before Christmas The Lions escort Santa Clause around the villages in the area from 6:00pm to 8:00pm each evening and on the two Saturdays before Christmas and on Christmas eve Santa can be seen in the shopping centres at Maltby, Thurcroft and Dinnington.

On Sunday afternoon about 10 days before Christmas we hold our annual Carol Concert for pensioners at Rother Valley College, aided by the Anston Male Voice Choir.
