Basics:
The C body will be more difficult to modify than any other MoPar passenger car excepting the D body Imperials. I wish I could tell you to grab the parts off a whatever and put them on your C body. It's not going to be easy. I'll give you tips and ideas but most of it's going to be custom made or factory stuff. If there is a 300 version of your C body then hunt one up and use it's suspension.
Torsion bars:
There are several manufacturers out there that will custom make torsion bars if you provide them the specs. Halibrand in El Cajon, Ca. comes to mind. Alternatively you could fabricate a new rear mount to use A or 72 and earlier B body T-bars. This won't work on C bodies that have the height adjuster in the rear, such as my former 64 300. In this case you might have to swap out lower control arms with something newer, make sure you maintain the stock geometry.
Leaf springs:
Any competent spring shop should be able to build a leaf spring to your specs. Look in the Yellow Pages under Springs.
Swaybars:
If swaybars were an option for your car find a set. You can stiffen them up with polyurethane bushings. You might have to find a swaybar off an unrelated vehicle to fit your car. I happen to know that the swaybar off an 89 Dodge pickup will work on a 63/64 C body. Get your tape measure out and start hunting. Some spring shops can bend up swaybars as well, ask.
Shocks:
A good set of gas charged shocks will work wonders for even a stock suspension. If you want a more radical shock you'll have to compare the specs of your stock shock, collapsed and extended length as well as mounting hardware, to the performance shocks. This info should be in the back of the shock catalog at the parts store.
Tires and rims:
Stuff the widest, tallest tire with a short sidewall in to your wheelwell. You might try to limit the overall diameter of the tire to the stock diameter so that your speedometer will still read correctly. Otherwise you will need to compensate for that. I was able to run Pro-Trac N50-15's in the back and P245/60R14's in the front of my 64 300 without rubbing.
Miscellaneous:
I know of no source for anything other than rubber bushings for a C body. So you will have to be content with stock rubber bushings unless you wish to pay $$$ for custom made polyurethane/nylon/Delrin bushings. I have heard rumors that Global West has Del-a-lum bushings for some C bodies but I haven't called them on it. If anyone has more info on this let me know.
