TRD (Toyota Racing Development) is a department of Toyota Techno Craft, which develops and sells Race Car and Sports Parts for Supra, Corolla, Celica, Starlet, etc. TRD has expanded to TRD USA and TTE (Toyota Team Europe); providing various service to Toyota Sports Users around the world as the "Point of Toyota Motor Sports."
Currently TRD is also supporting domestic Toyota One-Make races such as Formula Toyota Esso Challenge; an area where TRD's technology in Racing Parts and regulations are fully made use of. In the USA, TRD supports racing series such as Formula Atlantic.
TRD functions as a Toyota factory to partly develop racing cars participating in All Japan GT Championships, All Japan Touring Car Championships and overseas Rally races. TRD does not participate in racing in the form of a team, but maintains a strong enthusiasm in Toyota Motor Sports.
