Surround Sound Processing
Surround sound is what makes a theater come to life! It has been around for quite some time. Surround sound is: many speakers positioned throughout the theater to bring you superb sound effects. Say, for example, a jet plane flies overhead on the movie screen. The sound would travel from the front speakers of the theater to the back speakers! So it sounds like the plane is ripping through the theater!!! Cool huh? Now, in order to have this affect, you must have five things. 1: a theater, 2: a theater screen (preferrably a big one!) 3: a surround sound processor to process the film's sound track through the speakers and to create the correct effect, 4: a HUGE amlpifire to power all of the speakers, and 5: The speakers. All of this costs around $60,000-$500,000!!!
These elimates of the theater have improved the experience greatly! But, say you didn't want to pay $8.00 a ticket and be very crouded for this experience? Well, if you're one of those people, you're looking for a Home Theater! That's rite! You can have almost the exact same experience you get from the theater rite in you own home!!! This page will tell you the different Surround Processors, how much they might cost, and how well they recreate the theater enviroment.
