'65 Pontiac Lowrider
This is AMT's 1965 Pontiac 2+2 #6629
Engine: Plumbed & wired, using braided radiator hoses, from "Detailmaster". The distributor kit is from "Parts by Parks", the sparklead separators are scratch, as are the fuel lines. The tires were given the usual sanding, and hand painted whitewalls......
Interior: Was painted using White & Blue acrylic, with a crackle teatment on the seats inlays. The rear deck, and the dash were covered with Leopard skin printed material......
Body: Airbrushed, using three coats of Blue Pearl enamel from Boyd's, then masked and patterned with alternating light coats of Hot Pink & Lime Green, which were custom mixed. Then it was treated to Gold BMF, and finally a Firebird decal on the hood.
Wheels: Are from AMT's '50 Street Machine Pickup.
